Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. What This Policy Covers
This policy describes how Software Umbrella collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use GhostSite (ghostsite.app) — the “Service”. It does not apply to third-party sites or services linked from the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide: When you submit a domain for analysis, we collect the domain name and any optional business context you enter. If you provide contact details (name, email) to receive your report, we store those as well.
Account information: If you create a paid account, we collect your name, email address, and billing information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store raw card data).
Usage data: We collect anonymised data about how the Service is used (e.g. pages visited, analysis results) to improve the product. This data cannot be used to identify you individually.
No tracking cookies: The Service does not use tracking cookies. Session state is stored in your browser's localStorage and is never transmitted to third-party analytics or advertising platforms.
3. How We Use Your Information

- Consent — where you have explicitly opted in (e.g. marketing emails)
- Legal obligation — where required by applicable EU or Polish law
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Analysis results are retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.
